ABOUT US
(OUR STORY)
Most branded content is engineered to hijack attention. Fast cuts, dopamine hooks, algorithmic optimization, a system built to keep people slightly anxious and coming back for more. At IMPACT, we build against that. We make branded films and documentaries designed to do the opposite of what the content machine does, to regulate instead of stimulate, build trust instead of compulsion, leave people better than we found them.

Robert Bean didn't come to this work from the outside. He grew up inside dysfunction, addiction his baseline before he had language for it. A career as a commercial pilot gave him precision, discipline, and control, everything the content machine rewards. But his own healing journey, working through C-PTSD, put his focus somewhere the industry wasn't looking. At the exact brands built around healing people, running the same compulsion loops as the platforms making them sick.
This isn't abstract for Robert. He knows what it feels like to be inside a nervous system that never learned how to be calm.
He knows what it costs when the environment around you keeps pulling you back into the chaos you're trying to escape, even when you're doing everything right.
Even when you're on the path. Even when you know better.
That experience made him look differently at the people these wellness brands were trying to help. And at the media being used to reach them.
Nobody was asking what the content itself was doing to the person on the other side of the screen. Whether it was regulating or dysregulating. Whether it was actually aligned with the healing it was promising.
That question changed everything.
It's the reason IMPACT exists. And it's the reason we'll never make work that treats the people you're trying to help as just another pair of eyes to capture.
